II Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all [men], as theirs also was.
I. You are not Saved
A. Selfish lovers of their own selves
B. Sensual lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God
C. Stiff-necked resist the truth
II. You are not Sanctified Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
A. Universal Presentation
B. Un-utilized Power but denying the power
C. Ungodliness Purged
D. Unwavering Promises I John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
III. You are not a Soul Winner
A. Don’t believe Hell Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God.
B. Don’t believe Heaven
C. Don’t believe in Him (He was a soul winner) Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
